The Las Vegas Raiders are facing yet another major franchise-defining decision this offseason.

Owner Mark Davis in the process of deciding if it will make Interim Coach Antonio Pierce the full-time head coach or look elsewhere, a choice that is quite clear for many of the players.

Raiders All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby is one of those who has made it very apparent that he wants Pierce to become the head coach moving forward.

The star edge rusher furthered his opinion on the matter on Saturday's episode of his podcast" "The Rush With Maxx Crosby."

"I mean, it's pretty simple," Crosby said. " ... I've made it very public, I made it pretty honest and clear. And for me, it's Antonio Pierce, without a doubt.

"I mean, we already had this opportunity a couple years ago with Rich [Bisaccia]. We had things going in the right direction, we went to the playoffs, almost won a playoff game. But we ended up deciding to go in a different direction and start from ground zero, and that didn't work.

"And now we're back in the same situation. We've got an opportunity to have a guy who's ... a lifer. He's from Compton (Calif.), been a Raider fan his whole life, former player, Super Bowl winner, captain.

"When you have that guy in the building, and then he comes in and has a chance to prove himself and he does, I feel like he exceeded expectations."

Crosby went on to list the Raiders' accomplishments since Pierce took over.

"I mean, it would be absolutely ridiculous and insane if we didn't bring back AP and give him an opportunity," he said.

Crosby has been with the Raiders for all five of his seasons in the NFL, and he wants to stay a Raider until he decides to hang up the cleats. That could go out the window, though, if Las Vegas chooses to move on from Pierce.

"I'm going to have to consider everything," Crosby said. "Honestly nothing's off the table. Clearly, I made it loud and clear that I want to be a Raider for life.

"I want to be here, I want to win here, I want to retire here. But I mean, if we go and start from scratch again, I mean, I've got to consider everything."

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
