The Las Vegas Raiders held their 2023 Content Day on Monday at the Intermountain Health Performance Center.

Content Day is the time of year when players on the team take photos and videos in their uniforms. It’s also a chance for fans to get a first look at the team's content on their different media pages.

Star players were prominently featured, including defensive end Maxx Crosby, who sat down with JT the Brick, Q Myers, and Raiders great Eric Allen as part of the Raiders Roundtable Live Show on their YouTube channel.

Crosby discussed several topics, including taking on a new role as a face of the franchise and a mentor for the young players on the team.

“Speaking up a little bit more when needed and just being my full self,” he said. “Not shying back when I think something is wrong, speaking up, holding everybody accountable and holding myself accountable.”

“They see what I’m doing on a daily basis, and they already know I’m not going to leave a box unchecked. I feel like I’ve earned that right to now take that next step and hold everybody accountable, lead the way I want to lead, so I’m fired up about it.”

Crosby is heading into year five with the Raiders and has steadily grown into one of the best defensive players in the NFL. He has been named to the Pro Bowl the past two seasons and has posted 20.5 sacks and 65 tackles for loss.

Crosby also talked about his versatility as a player and the level of conditioning he maintains to play so many roles for the Raiders.

“My conditioning is something I feel like separates myself from everybody else in the league,” he said. “I take it super serious and boxing has been a big thing these last two years, doing a lot of boxing training, which is a whole different type of training, you know, whole body, will really take you to a different place.”

“For me, I have my base routine of what I do, you always see me doing the hundreds and the gassers and things like that after practice, but bringing other guys along with me has been a big part of that.”

Crosby takes being a franchise leader seriously on and off the field, and he is set to have another excellent season.
