There's no question that Las Vegas Raiders Pro Bowl edge rusher Maxx Crosby is one of the most available players in the NFL.

Crosby has never missed a game in his seasons in the NFL, and this season, he has played 95 percent of the defensive snaps.

Even after being ruled doubtful for Week 12 against the Kansas City Chiefs when he was hospitalized briefly due to a knee injury, Crosby still played and even recorded a sack.

On Thursday, Crosby could finally sit and rest while his teammates finished off the Los Angeles Chargers in their historic 63-21 victory.

"I've never had a game in my career where I sat," Crosby said when he joined "The Pat McAfee Show" on Monday. "Like, I didn't even -- I didn't play in the fourth quarter. I've never been a part of that.

"My whole career with the Raiders has been like close games, down-to-the-wire, heart-attack type games, and this was different, for sure. So, it was just good to see the young guys get to step in, too, at the end and continue to ball out. So, it was a special moment."

The Raiders had not won a game by at least 25 points since Week 10 of the 2020 season, when they defeated the Denver Broncos, 37-12. Of the 31 games the Raiders have played between last season and this season, only 10 have been won or lost by more than a single possession.

Crosby is having a career season and has posted 80 combined tackles, 19 for losses, 13.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and two passes defensed.

His availability will be critical against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Raiders' most crucial game of the season. Fortunately for the Silver and Black, he has an extra long week to recover and get ready for what should be another epic clash in this historic rivalry.

The Silver and Black will return to action versus their AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, on Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Don't miss it on Monday, December 25, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
