3 Things to Watch for as the Raiders Play the Dolphins

Today's Las Vegas Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins game offers three things to watch for as they go head-to-head in Hard Rock Stadium.
In this story:

There are three things to watch for in today's game as the Las Vegas Raiders (5-5) take on the Miami Dolphins (6-3) today in Hard Rock Stadium.

It starts with Raiders rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell. With a Raiders victory today, O'Connell would become the third quarterback in Raiders history to win three of his first four career starts. O'Connell would be joining Raiders quarterbacks Ken Stabler and Mike Rae.

With 200 passing yards, O'Connell will be one of six quarterbacks in Raiders history to record 800-plus passing yards in their first four career starts.

The next player to watch for is Raiders running back Josh Jacobs. With 36 rushing yards, Jacobs would surpass Marcus Allen with 5,397 yards for the most rushing yards by a Raiders running back in their first five NFL seasons.

Also, with 100-plus yards rushing against the Dolphins, Jacobs would notch his 17th career 100-yard performance. This would be the second most in franchise history and the second most among players in their first five seasons in Silver and Black, behind only  Marcus Allen, who had 20.

Raiders middle linebacker Robert Spillane is another player to watch for during today's game against the Dolphins. If Spillane gets an interception, he would reach four interceptions on the season. This would be the most interceptions in the NFL in 2023 among all linebackers.

Spillane's four interceptions would also be the third most by a Raiders linebacker in a single season. Spillane would be the first Raiders linebacker to record four-plus interceptions in a single season since 2007, when Kirk Morrison made four and Thomas Howard had six.

Be on the watch for all of these Raiders today, as all of them are on record-breaking watch as they all will try to lead the way for the Raiders' third straight victory against the Dolphins in Hard Rock Stadium.

The Silver and Black will head on the road to South Beach to take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
