Looking at Raiders' Adams Vs. Dolphins' Ramsey

In the Las Vegas Raiders-Miami Dolphins game, the match-up of wide receiver Davante Adams and cornerback Jalen Ramsey will be one to watch.

When the Las Vegas Raiders and Miami Dolphins face off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday, it will be a battle between one of the best teams in the AFC and one trying to work its way back into the playoff picture.

While this game is sure to be competitive and hard-fought, with so much individual talent on both teams, it’s hard not to look closer at some of the one-on-one match-ups we will see.

As always, that includes wide receivers versus cornerbacks. These match-ups tend to get chippy and overly competitive. Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams and Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey are two of the best players in the league at their respective positions.

They are also two of the most competitive players at their respective positions, as Ramsey is known for trying to get under his receivers’ skin and has a successful track record at that.

Adams has an incredibly competitive demeanor and is always trying to win.

The match-up between these two players should be one of the most interesting for Adams and Ramsey this season. Ramsey has been back from a knee injury for only a few weeks and has not yet faced a receiver of Adams’ caliber. Adams has faced good cornerbacks this season, but he and Ramsey have some history.

The two matched up last season when the Raiders faced the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football. Adams made two spectacular catches against Ramsey in that game, but those would be his only two.

What makes Adams such a unique player is how fast he is and how well he moves for his size. He also has excellent hands, displayed on his catches against Ramsey.

Ramsey is well-built for a cornerback and is incredibly smart. He does not bite on head fakes or double moves often and is always in the hip pocket of his receiver.

As the Raiders are trying to better position themselves in the AFC playoff race and the Dolphins are trying improve their record, all eyes will be on the match-up between Adams and Ramsey, as that could be the determining factor in the outcome of the game.

The Silver and Black will head on the road to South Beach to take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST.
