Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams gets recognition from three Minnesota Vikings ahead of their Week 14 game in Allegiant Stadium.

Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders is considered one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League.

This week, Adams was recognized by three Minnesota Vikings ahead of their Week 14 game on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Wide receiver Justin Jefferson is the first Viking who gave recognition of Adams to the media this week. Jefferson had familiarity with Adams when they went head-to-head in the NFC North when Adams was with the Green Bay Packers.

"It's always fun to see him on and off the field honestly. He's a fantastic player," Jefferson said. "I always watched him growing up and seeing him in Green Bay. I always watched his releases, his route running. I've been a fan of Davante ever since I could run routes.

"So, it's been a pleasure really to follow behind him, to really learn from him, to see the good things he does every single week even though he's getting doubled and tripled just like I am. It's always cool to talk to him and chop it up with him, but he's definitely one of the best in the game."

Vikings Defensive Coordinator Brian Flores also gave recognition to Adams This is Flores' first season as the Vikings DC.

"Obviously, he's one of the best receivers in the league," Flores said. "He's fast, a great route runner, has great hands, is a combat catcher, runs after the catch. He's really the entire package. They get him the ball in a myriad of ways, when he's doubled or there's a lot of attention paid to him. ... Specific to Davante, one-on-one, it's a tough match-up for anyone in the league. We'll have to pay close attention to him."

Lastly, Vikings Coach Kevin O'Connell recognized Adams to the media this week. This is O'Connell's second season as the Vikings' head coach and he has a record of  19-10.

"He's a complete player, O"Connell said. "He can win every which way you ask a receiver to do it. He's great with the ball in his hands as far as maximizing some of those yards after catch opportunities, has great ball-tracking skills when he gets down the field, and he's got the strength and physicality to really separate versus tighter coverage in those intermediate areas. So we've got to have a plan for him and it's going to be a challenge for our defense."

Sunday will be Adam's 16th career game against the Vikings and the first time playing them while wearing the Silver and Black.

The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
