Three Things to Watch for as Vikings Play the Raiders

Sunday's Week 14 game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Las Vegas Raiders offers three things to watch for.
In this story:

There are three things to watch for in Sunday's Week 14 game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

It starts with Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, who needs 29 rushing yards against the Vikings to reach 800 yards for the season. This would be his fifth consecutive season with 800-plus rushing yards.

Jacobs would be joining Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry the only two players in the NFL to record 800-plus rushing yards in each season since 2019.

And Jacobs' five straight seasons of rushing for 800-plus yards would be the second-longest active streak in the NFL.

Jacobs had 10 carries for 44 yards in the one game he's played against the Vikings.

Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams also is a player to watch for  against the Vikings.

With six receptions, Adams would reach 70-plus receptions for the  eighth consecutive season, the second-longest active streak in the NFL, and tied for the seventh-longest streak in NFL history.

Adams would be one of just ten players in NFL history to reach 70-plus catches in eight straight seasons.

Adams has 93 catches for 1,050 yards and has scored 13 touchdowns in 15 games against the Vikings in his career.

Lastly, defensive end Maxx Crosby needs one sack against the Vikings to become one of only five players in franchise history to reach 50.0-plus career sacks. He has 11.5 sacks this season.

Crosby also would become the only player in Raiders history to have 50.0-plus career sacks in his first five NFL seasons. With five tackles and 1.0 sacks against the Vikings, Crosby would become the fourth player in NFL history since 1987 to record 300-plus tackles and 50.0-plus career sacks in his first five NFL seasons.

Be on the watch for all three of these Raiders, as they all are on the record-breaking watch for against the Vikings in Allegiant Stadium.

The Silver and Black will return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 10, at 4:05 p.m. EST/1:05 p.m. PST.
