The 2024 NFL Draft is just one week away.

A week from today, players' dreams will be actualized and their shot at becoming an NFL star becomes a reality. More than that, it becomes an opportunity.

There have been rumors and smokescreens aplenty surrounding this draft class, as there are each draft cycle. They are noticeably present this time around because of the need for quarterbacks at the top of the draft.

As we navigate smokescreens and salvage a prediction percentage, we bring you our seventh mock draft.

1. Chicago Bears (from Panthers) - Caleb Williams, QB, USC

Williams has essentially been the Bears' quarterback since they traded Justin Fields last month. The Bears decide to start over, bringing in a player with excellent arm strength, anticipatory throwing, and improvisational skills.

2. Washington Commanders - Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

There is lots of smoke blowing towards Daniels being the Commanders' selection. There is a new regime in place looking to put a stamp on their era. Daniels is an accurate, athletic quarterback who could thrive in Kliff Kingsbury's scheme.

3. New England Patriots - Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

The Patriots, like the teams before them, are looking for a franchise quarterback. They also have a coaching staff looking to prove themselves, like the Commanders. They go with Maye here, an impressive athlete with a rocket arm.

4. Minnesota Vikings (from Cardinals) J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan

The Vikings move up to get their next franchise quarterback. They go with McCarthy, whose leadership and intangibles make him an enticing player for their locker room. He has impressive traits, although he did not get to show them at a high volume with the Wolverines.

5. Arizona Cardinals (from Chargers) Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

After trading down, the Cardinals move right back up to find their top weapon for Kyler Murray. Harrison is one of the best wide receiver prospects in recent memory. He has elite size, speed, and hands, and will be the focal point of their offense.

6. New York Giants - Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

The Giants are looking for an offensive weapon to provide some relief for Daniel Jones. Odunze has an impressive skill set. He can rise up over a cornerback and snatch the ball out of the air, or make plays in the open field.

7. Tennessee Titans - Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame

The Titans can stay where they are and take the best offensive line prospect in the draft. Alt has a massive frame and rarely allows defenders past him as a pass protector.

8. Atlanta Falcons - Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

Pass rush is a pressing need for the Falcons, but Nabers' skill set is too much to pass up on here. Nabers is arguably the most explosive player in the draft class. He can stretch the field or operate in the open field and create YAC.

After selecting Caleb Williams, the Bears get an offensive tackle to protect him. Fashanu is an elite athlete for his position and has room to grow as both a run blocker and a pass protector.

10. New York Jets - Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State

The Jets dealt with several injuries along their offensive line last season. They added some veterans in free agency, but they need to find long-term options. Fuaga is a guy who can play guard for a year or so and eventually take over at right tackle.

11. Los Angeles Chargers (from Cardinals via Vikings) - Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

After winding up outside the top 10, the Chargers land one of the most unique players in the class. Bowers is arguably the best tight end prospect in years. He is an excellent athlete who can block and catch. He joins Los Angeles as Justin Herbert's new favorite target.

12. Denver Broncos - Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama

The first defensive player off the board, Turner has excellent athleticism and traits. He was a productive college player, too, with 22.5 career sacks. He becomes the dominant presence off the edge for the Broncos.

13. Las Vegas Raiders - Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

The Silver and Black take a chance on a player with elite traits, but very few starts. Mims stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs 340 pounds and moves like he is half that size. The Raiders fill an immediate need on the right side of their offensive line.

14. New Orleans Saints - JC Latham, OT, Alabama

The Saints need to find a player who can fill in at right tackle, or at left tackle if Ryan Ramczyk is going to miss extended time. Latham has the size and toughness to be a Day-1 contributor.

15. Indianapolis Colts - Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo

The Colts get some defensive help here, although they were strong on that side of the ball last season. Mitchell gives them an excellent option on the outside with size, athleticism, and competitiveness.

16. Seattle Seahawks - Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA

The Seahawks get some edge help from one of the top pass-rushers in the class. Latu has excellent size and athleticism to both play the run and rush the passer.

17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

The Jaguars were a fairly strong defensive team last year as well, but they need to find a running mate opposite Tyson Campbell. Arnold has great IQ and impressive traits. Jacksonville could have two CB1s on their team if they select Arnold.

18. Cincinnati Bengals - Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington

The Bengals added Trent Brown in free agency, so they don't have an immediate need on their offensive line. However, they go with Fautanu here, a player who can kick inside in the short term before eventually sliding over to tackle.

19. Los Angeles Rams - Jer'Zhan "Johnny" Newton, DT, Illinois

Replacing Aaron Donald is as close to impossible as it gets. The Rams attempt to do so here by adding Newton. Slightly undersized but incredibly competitve, Newton has some pass-rush juice that could help alleviate some of the production lost from Donald's departure.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers - Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

The Steelers need some secondary help to truly boost their defense. Wiggins has solid size, impressive speed, and unteachable competitiveness. He forms a promising young duo with Joey Porter Jr.

21. Miami Dolphins - Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

The Dolphins let Christian Wilkins go to the Raiders, so they need to find an interior defensive lineman to replace him. Murphy is a relentless, aggressive defender who will immediately be a plus in run defense. He has some room to grow as a pass-rusher, too.

22. Philadelphia Eagles - Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

Philadelphia is not scared off by McKinstry's foot injury. They bet on his intangible traits and his physicality, as they need a youth infusion in their secondary. McKinstry recorded 93 total tackles and 23 passes defended with the Crimson Tide.

23. Los Angeles Chargers (from Cardinals via Vikings and Texans) - Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

A pick that has been moved many times ends up with the Chargers, who double-dip for receiving help. Thomas is still learning the nuances of playing wide receiver, but he has elite athleticism and straight-line speed and can be an immediate deep threat.

24. Dallas Cowboys - Graham Barton, OL, Duke

The Cowboys let Tyron Smith walk this offseason, so they need to find a replacement for their long-time left tackle. They go with Barton here, a player who can play any position. He spent most of his time with the Blue Devils at left tackle, though.

25. Green Bay Packers - Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State

Edge isn't an immediate need for the Packers, but Verse's talent is too great to leave on the board. He has excellent speed-to-power conversion and would provide serious juice to the Packers' pass-rush.

26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

Tampa Bay lost Ryan Jensen this offseason, so they have to find someone for the middle of their offensive line. Powers-Johnson is the best center prospect in the class with excellent size and immediate run-blocking production potential.

27. Arizona Cardinals (from Texans) - Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa

The Cardinals got the best receiver in the draft in the top ten, now they get a versatile defensive back in the back end of the first round. DeJean has smooth technique and great athleticism and can play cornerback or safety at the next level.

28. Buffalo Bills - Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

Wide receiver became a massive need for the Bills when they traded Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans. They go with Mitchell here, a player with great size and speed. He becomes an immediate favorite target of Josh Allen.

29. Detroit Lions - Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri

The Lions are in a position where they do not have many pressing needs on their roster, so they add a massive presence off the edge in Robinson. He has great athleticism and can play on the edge or on the interior.

30. Baltimore Ravens - Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

The Ravens have to add to their wide receiver room so Lamar Jackson has more weapons to throw to. They give him the fastest receiver in the class here, as Worthy ran a 4.21 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine. Todd Monken and the Ravens bring him in to let him fly.

31. San Francisco 49ers - Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

The 49ers upgrade their offensive line by adding Guyton, a massive, athletic presence who will give Brock Purdy time to throw. He has room to grow as a run blocker, too.

32. Kansas City Chiefs - Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

The Chiefs' only need is at wide receiver, so they get a big-bodied target in Coleman. Not only is he a red zone threat, but the Chiefs could put the ball in his hands and let him run in the open field as well.
