The Las Vegas Raiders found out their schedule a couple of weeks ago, and as it turns out, if they want to get back to the playoffs, they have a tough road in front of them.

The Raiders will face one of the league’s toughest schedules, based on the combined win-loss records from the 2022 season of the teams they are set to play.

According to CBS’s John Breech, the Silver and Black are set to play the league’s 10th-toughest schedule in the NFL, with the teams they play combining for a 150-136-2 record, good for a .524 winning percentage. This is the toughest schedule in the AFC West, with the Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs all in the top 20.

It’s important to remember that these are only preseason predictions based on the previous season and offseason moves, and that no team is the same as they were last season. Several unpredictable circumstances can alter the outset of what a game is expected to be.

Looking ahead at the Raiders’ schedule, they will face off against six playoff teams in the Buffalo Bills, Chargers, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings. They will also take on teams that did not make the playoffs last season, but are widely projected to be there this season in the New York Jets and the Detroit Lions.

The Raiders will also be in primetime for five games this season, with each of those games on a nationally televised network, four of those games coming at Allegiant Stadium. While each of those games will come against tough opponents, the Raiders are fortunate to have most of them at home.

The Raiders will play three of the last four games against their AFC West opponents, including going to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs on Christmas Day. They will also end the season at home against the Broncos.

The Raiders are looking to put a disappointing 2022 behind them with aspirations of returning to the playoffs in 2023. They will have their work cut out for them and must take down some of the league’s best teams to do that.

The Raiders' offseason workout schedule is as follows:

OTA Offseason workouts: May 22-23, May 25, May 31-June 2, June 12-15

Mandatory Minicamp: June 6-8
