After an offseason overhaul from General Manager Dave Ziegler, the Las Vegas Raiders will look vastly different on offense this season.

With a new quarterback and many new pass catchers, the Raiders nearly underwent an offensive makeover and now more closely resemble what Coach Josh McDaniels wants to run.

The Raiders had several offensive players have impressive years, including wide receiver Davante Adams, who was once again a Pro Bowler and First-Team All-Pro member, and offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor, whose surprisingly good play earned him another contract.

If the Raiders want to return to the playoffs this year, they will need more players to have impressive seasons. Let’s look at three offensive players who will take a step forward today.

Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow -- Renfrow’s play last season was marred due to injuries, and heading into 2023 with a clean bill of health will return to the level of play he was at in 2021 or perhaps even surpass it.

Renfrow had more than 1,000 receiving yards in 2021, and while that may be tough to do with Adams and Jakobi Meyers on his team, he could still replicate that value to the passing offense. Renfrow is an excellent route runner with sure hands and is looking to put his injury-riddled 2023 season behind him.

Running back Zamir White -- White was not wrong by any means in 2022, but he did not have the opportunity to carry the ball like he is going to get in 2023. He had only 17 carries for 70 yards last season.

Given the uncertainty surrounding Josh Jacobs’ contract situation, White’s carries might increase more than expected. Even if Jacobs returns to the Raiders, White’s role will increase naturally. He is a powerful, elusive back and looks to show that this upcoming season.

Guard Alex Bars -- The Raiders’ offensive line impressed as a unit last season, but Bars himself struggled. He earned only a 45.4 overall grade on Pro Football Focus and allowed five sacks.

However, the Raiders re-signed Bars in the offseason, showing faith that he can improve on a rough 2022 season. With another year in the same system with the same players next to him on the offensive line, Bars has a great chance of settling in and improving his play in 2023.
