Raiders Brandon Parker on OL Coach Bricillio

Over the past couple of seasons, the Las Vegas Raiders have produced a very talented offensive line. Last season, the Raiders offensive line led to Josh Jacobs ending the season as the NFL rushing leader.

One offensive lineman ended up missing the last season for the Raiders. That offensive lineman is Brandon Parker, who had a season-ending leg injury during last year's 2022 NFL Hall of Fame game, where the Raiders played the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Last season was also the first season for offensive line coach Carmen Bricillio. He previously was an assistant coach with the New England Patriots and has 20 years of coaching experience in the NFL.

Parker had the chance to share with the media what it is like being coached under second-year offensive line coach Bricillio and what he is like as a person.

"He's personable," Parker said. "I don't think he was blessed to play this position, but he's able to relate to us. He teaches us the technique, the schemes, everything, and he kind of knows the rigor of the season. So, he's able to try to feel what we feel, but we just buy into him because he's passionate about what he does. We know he's trying to lead us with the right intentions, so we follow him."

Bricillo is entering his second season as the Raiders' offensive line coach after coaching a very balanced and talented offensive line last season.

All eyes are on the veteran offensive lineman Parker, who has been on the Raiders since 2018. It will be very interesting to watch him bounce back from his season-ending leg injury last season, as he will continue to work on making the final Raiders 53-man roster by the start of the 2023-24 NFL regular season.
