The Las Vegas Raiders are in dire need of improving their secondary this offseason.

The club has made some quality moves in free agency, but its best chance of getting this position group to where it needs to be could come in this month's NFL Draft.

According to a report from MLFootball, Old Dominion cornerback Tre Hawkins III has met virtually with the Silver and Black as one of their Top-30 visits.

Hawkins was a two-year starter at Old Dominion, having started every game for the Monarchs over the last two seasons.

In his senior campaign, Hawkins posted 57 tackles, eight passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and two interceptions.

The season prior, the prospect registered 76 tackles, four for a loss, six passes defensed and a forced fumble.

Hawkins was named an All-Conference USA honorable mention for that campaign. Old Dominion would then join the Sun Belt Conference starting last season.

Hawkins originally played junior college ball at Trinity Valley Community College, where he totaled 44 tackles over the course of two seasons.

The young cornerback's draft stock rose following a stellar Pro Day back in March, as he recorded a 40-yard dash time of 4.39 seconds, a vertical jump of 37.5'', a broad jump of 10'9'' and a three-cone drill time of 6.74 seconds.
