The Las Vegas Raiders continued their winning ways in the preseason on Saturday, defeating the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., 34-17.

This is the second week in a row the Raiders have scored 34 points, with impressive performances on both sides of the ball.

With another high-scoring performance, the offense picked up where they left off. After Jimmy Garoppolo’s debut at quarterback and the first look at Brian Hoyer this preseason, rookie Aidan O’Connell continued to flash with 163 passing yards and two touchdowns.

One of the most notable feats of this Raiders victory was how well their wide receiver corps performed. The Raiders have a plethora of wideouts who can perform at a high level, and several of them did.

Let’s break down some of the wide receivers’ performances from the Raiders’ second straight preseason win.

The Raiders had four receivers with over 50 receiving yards in the game, which for O’Connell, was a continuation of how he has been spreading the ball around throughout the preseason.

The Raiders’ leading receiver on the night was Phillip Dorsett, who had two massive receptions from Hoyer which led to a field goal at the end of the second half to put them up, 20-10.

With this performance, Dorsett might have given himself a better chance to be the Raiders’ fourth receiver behind Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow and Jakobi Meyers. He is one of the more experienced receivers in the room and has played under Coach Josh McDaniels before.

While Tre Tucker dropped a pass in the end zone, he still finished his evening with three receptions for 66 yards. Tucker showed off his blazing speed in the game, flying by a Rams’ defensive back for a 40-yard reception.

Keelan Cole was impressive again, catching five passes for 60 yards and holding onto an O’Connell pass that put the Raiders within the Rams’ five-yard line. That reception led to an impressive touchdown grab from Kristian Wilkerson, who finished the game with five receptions for 54 yards.

Cam Sims also had a great touchdown catch, going up over top of a Rams defender and getting both feet in bounds.

The Raiders’ top three receivers are set in place, but they have several players fighting for depth roles. McDaniels’ and General Manager Dave Ziegler’s decision on which receivers to keep on the 53-man roster was not made any easier after so many receivers had great performances on Saturday.
