Raiders Facing Top RBs in 2024-25 NFL Season

The Las Vegas Raiders will have the opportunity to face some of the NFL's best running backs next season.

The Las Vegas Raiders will be tested next season as they can go head-to-head with some of the best running backs in the National Football League.

In a recent Pro Football Focus article, the website listed the highest-graded running backs during the 2023-24 NFL regular season.

The Raiders will have to face eight top-graded running backs next season, starting with De'von Achane of the Miami Dolphins.

Achane has the highest grade on the Pro Football Focus list. He finished the season with a PFF grade of 92.1 in his rookie season with the Dolphins, rushing for 800 yards on 103 carries and scoring eight touchdowns.

Along with Achane, the Raiders will have to face Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert, who has the fifth-highest grade on Pro Football Focus's list. 

Achane finished the season with a PFF grade of 86.3 in a career season, rushing for 1,012 yards on 209 carries and scoring 18 touchdowns.

Next is Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier, who has the seventh-highest running back grade with a PFF grade of 82.6. Allgeier finished the 2023-24 season with 683 yards on 186 carries and scored four touchdowns.

Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams also is a top running back the Raiders will have to face next season. Williams has the 10th-highest PFF grade of 80.4. In his rookie season with the Rams, Williams rushed for 1,144 yards on 228 carries and scored 12 touchdowns.

The Raiders will face a divisional rival in Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco, who has the 11th-highest running back grade with a PFF grade of 79.9. He rushed for 935 yards on 205 carries and scored seven touchdowns last season.

Next is Jaylen Warren of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who has the 13th-highest PFF running back grade of 78.5. He finished the 2023-24 season with 784 yards rushing on 149 carries and scored four touchdowns.

Carolina Panthers Chuba Hubbard is a running back the Silver and Black also will face next season. Hubbard is the 16th-highest graded running back with a PFF mark of 77.2. He finished the 2023-24 season with 902 rushing yards on 238 carries and scored five touchdowns.

Lastly is Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr., who is listed as having the 17th-highest graded running back with a PFF mark of 77.0. He finished the 2023-24 NFL season with 1,008 yards rushing on 267 carries and scored 11 touchdowns.

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
