Three Exciting Games Raider Fans Can Expect This Season
The 2023-24 NFL Regular season is approaching for the Las Vegas Raiders.
This NFL season, the Raiders have the 10th-toughest schedule in the league. The teams the Raiders are playing this season have a combined record of 150-136-2, a .524 winning percentage. The Raiders have the most demanding schedule out of all the other teams in the AFC West.
The first game Raider Nation can be excited about this upcoming season is Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers. Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams faces off against his former team, the Packers, in a prime-time Monday Night Football Game. He spent a total of nine seasons with the Packers. The Raiders will also go up against former interim head coach Rich Bisaccia. He is currently the Packers' special teams coach but took over as the interim head coach with the Raiders in the 2021-22 season, finished with a 9-7 record, and appeared in a Wild Card Playoff game.
The next game Raider Nation can be excited for this season is in Week 6 against the New England Patriots. Coach Josh McDaniels will go up against the team he spent quality seasons as the offensive coordinator. Newly acquired wide receiver this offseason, Jakobi Meyers also gets to go up against the Patriots after spending four seasons with the franchise.
The final game Raider Nation can be excited about this upcoming season is in Week 10 against the New York Jets. This game could be exciting because both teams were very active in making significant changes this offseason.
One of the Jets' changes was signing veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers so that Adams could face his former quarterback. Adams and Rodgers spent quality time for the Green Bay Packers as a phenomenal quarterback and wide receiver duo.
This upcoming NFL season will be very exciting for the Raiders. Josh McDaniels enters his second season coaching the Silver and Black; the Raiders will play with a new quarterback under center, and the Raiders defensive line could finish as the league's best.
