Crosby Feels the Love from Multiple NBA Stars

Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby recently attended a few NBA games and got to interact with some of the league's best players.

Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby has become one of the faces of the league in the last few seasons.

Crosby has made connections with some of sports’ biggest names because of his play on the field and his relentless pursuit of greatness.

Crosby was in Los Angeles this past week to have surgery on his knee and thumb, and during his time there, he and his wife, Rachel Washburn, attended a Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers game on consecutive days.

During those games, Crosby met Clippers star guard James Harden, of whom he had been a fan for a long time. When the Lakers were playing the Phoenix Suns, Crosby met Suns star forward Kevin Durant and interacted with Lakers star LeBron James.

He described those interactions on the latest episode of his podcast, "The Rush with Maxx Crosby."

“I manifested this moment for a long time,” Crosby said. “I hit up my boy Slime [Tarantino], Slime knows his agent, I hit up CJ [LaBoy], CJ knows some people from the Clippers. We got some great tickets, and me and Rachel went to the game courtside and got to chop it up with James pregame and then postgame, we got to link up and spend some time together, chop it up, and we locked in. He hooked me up with a jersey, and I have to send him a jersey. It was legendary. Since a child, I’ve been a huge James Harden fan.”

Crosby’s interaction with Durant was similar, but his interaction with James differed slightly.

“Me and Kevin Durant, we became friends this season,” Crosby said. “He hit me up after the Chargers game, he was locked in watching us, and he was like: ‘Bro, huge fan,’ and we’ve been locked in ever since. So, I told KD: ‘I’m coming to the game,’ we go to the game courtside, got to meet KD, got his jersey as well.

“I had a little interaction with LeBron, which was nuts. It was crazy. He’s literally on defense, he looks over, and he’s like: ‘Yeah, you’re a motherf—ing dog. You’re a f—ing dog. But you can’t call me a little a– boy,’ and he starts laughing. I was shook. This is f—ing LeBron James. It’s unreal.”

It’s apparent Crosby’s stardom has taken him to exciting places already.
