The Las Vegas Raiders had their best offensive performance on Sunday in a 30-6 victory over the New York Giants. The Silver and Black turned to Interim Offensive Coordinator Bo Hardegree and rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell to lead the offense.

The pair helped the Raiders put together the offensive performance many thought was possible heading into this season. Las Vegas completed passes to eight receivers.

Rookie wide receiver Tre Tucker led the way with two catches for 52 yards.

Although 50 of those yards came on one play to set up a touchdown, it was the type of explosive play the Raiders' offense was missing all season.

Tucker's reception stretched the field and helped the Raiders' offense open up the playbook because of the success of the long ball.

"He's very explosive," Hardegree said. "He's very talented, and he works really hard. People that do those things deserve opportunities."

O'Connell, a rookie starting in his second game, found Tucker down the right side of the field late in the second quarter.

“First thing first, I think you have to give credit to Davante [Adams]," O'Connell said. "Davante got double-team basically the entire game, and he did as well on that play, and the safety was cheating to his side. We had go balls on both sides, and so Davante attracts a lot of people, and Tre [Tucker] knew that he had to step up and go execute.

"Tre did a great job; it was an unbelievable catch. I remember in our preseason game against the 49ers here, he had a similar play, and it ended up being incomplete. And just to see it come full circle and make the same catch was pretty awesome.

"Tre is a guy who works super hard, a fellow rookie, so it's super cool to see him succeeding. He's done a great job. He's a dynamic player. It's a lot of fun to see guys around you succeed.”

The Raiders now have an offensive coordinator who can get the most out of the players he has been given. Las Vegas' offense has many weapons. Some are more well-known than others and Tucker has the potential to be an integral part of this offense.

The Silver and Black will remain at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to take on the New York Jets on Sunday, Nov. 12, at 8:20 p.m. EST/5:20 p.m. PST.
