The Battle for Vegas Softball Charity Game between the Las Vegas Raiders and the 2023 Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, will be back at Las Vegas Ballpark for another year.

Since 2019 -- aside from a hiatus due to COVID-19 -- the event has featured stars from both teams who go head to head, with proceeds going to various charities in the Las Vegas area.

This year, Battle for Vegas will feature a two-day Fan Fest event that will lead up to the events of the game.

Fan Fest will take place Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin and will consist of games for fans to participate in, food and drinks, opportunities to have autographs signed by the players, trophy photo ops, and more.

The Fan Fest events will run from 4-9 p.m. that Friday and 10 a.m.-to 5:30 p.m. that Saturday.

The game, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, will be preceded by a home run derby at 6:30 p.m.

The annual event has raised over $550,000 for local charities over the last three years it's been played.

Vegas Golden Knights forward Reilly Smith has hosted the game every year and serves as one of the two captains.

His team came away victorious over Captain Josh Jacobs and the Raiders last year.

Las Vegas Ballpark is home to the city's Triple-A baseball team, the Las Vegas Aviators of the Pacific Coast League. They are an affiliate of the Oakland Athletics.

Tickets for this year's game can be purchased at www.battleforvegas.comwww.ticketmaster.com, or at the ballpark ticket office.
