The Las Vegas Raiders are continuing to prepare for their home opener at Allegiant Stadium against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

This series between the two franchises has been a classic, and they will face each other for the third straight season.

There are three things to watch for as the Raiders go head-to-head against the Steelers.

The first thing to watch for is wide receiver Davante Adams. If Adams scores a red zone touchdown on Sunday, he will notch the 62nd red zone receiving touchdown in his career. If he does so, he will pass Randy Moss with 61 for the fifth-most red zone receiving touchdowns in NFL history. He is only behind Antonio Gates with 92, Larry Fitzgerald with 83, Tony Gonzalez with 74, Jimmy Graham with 70, and Rob Gronkowski with 65.

Last week against the Bills, Adams finished the game with six catches for 84 yards and one touchdown.

The second thing to watch for this Sunday is rookie cornerback Jakorian Bennett. If Bennett gets seven tackles, he will have 23 tackles in only three games in 2023. If he gets seven tackles against the Steelers, his 23 total tackles would be the second most by a Raiders defender in their first three career games. This would be the most among defensive backs and by any Raiders defender since Kirk Morrison racked up 29 tackles in his first three games with the Raiders in 2005.

The last thing to watch for is kicker Daniel Carlson, who will reach 600 career points with the Silver and Black with three points on Sunday. He would be one of only six players in Silver and Black history to reach 600 career points.

If Carlson makes a 50-plus-yard field goal, he will have 25 career field goals of 50 yards or more, becoming one of two players since 2000 to make 25 50-yarders or more in their first 80 NFL games.

The Silver and Black return home to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 8:20 p.m. EDT/5:20 p.m. PDT.
