3 Things to Watch for as the Raiders Play the Chargers
This Sunday, the Las Vegas Raiders play in their second divisional game of the season when thy travel to Inglewood, Calif., to take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Sofi Stadium.
There are three things to watch for this Sunday as the Silver and Black take on the Chargers. Both teams are 1-2 and look to go .500 with a win.
The first thing to watch for is Raiders' star wide receiver Davante Adams. Last Sunday against the Steelers, he finished the game with 13 receptions for 172 yards and two touchdowns.
With six receptions on Sunday against the Chargers, Adams would become one of 13 players in NFL history to reach 800 receptions in his first 10 NFL seasons.
Adams also would become the sixth player in NFL history to reach 800 receptions through 137 career games. With 41 receiving yards on Sunday, he would reach 10,000 for his career. This would make him one of 15 players in NFL history to reach 10,000 career receiving yards in 137 career games.
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers also is a player to watch. If Meyers finishes the game with 76 receiving yards or more, he would become the 11th undrafted player in NFL history to reach 3,000-plus receiving yards in his first 63 games. If Meyers gets nine receptions on Sunday against the Chargers, he would surpass wide receiver Danny Amendola for the fourth most receptions by an undrafted player in his first 63 career games.
The last thing to watch for as the Raiders play the Chargers, is defensive end Maxx Crosby. If Crosby gets three tackles for losses on Sunday, he would become the ninth player in NFL since 1999 to reach 70 tackles for losses in only 70 career games. With 69 tackles for losses for Crosby, he would have the most by a Raiders' defender through 70 games.
Keep an eye out for all these Raiders as they are on record-breaking watch against the Chargers this Sunday.
The Silver and Black return to the road this week in Inglewood, Calif., to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 1, at 4:05 p.m. EDT/1:05 p.m. PDT.
