The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot of depth in their running back room, including two young assets selected in last year's NFL Draft: Zamir White and Brittain Brown.

However, the Raiders are not counting out taking another running back prospect with one of their 12 picks in this month's draft.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday that the Raiders hosted UCLA running back Zach Charbonnet for a Top-30 visit.

Charbonnet comes off of his best college season, finishing the 2022 campaign as a first-team All-Pac-12 honoree by coaches and second-team All-American selection by CBS Sports.

In addition, Charbonnet also was named a second-team All-American all-purpose player by the Associated Press, Pro Football Focus, and The Sporting News.

Charbonnet was a semifinalist for the 2022 Doak Walker Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.

All this recognition resulted from a campaign that consisted of 1,359 rushing yards, 14 rushing touchdowns, and 321 receiving yards. He led the country in all-purpose yards per game (168.0).

The season before, Charbonnet's first with the Bruins, the young running back was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team by coaches and Phil Steele.

Charbonnet transferred to UCLA after two seasons with Michigan, where he played in 18 games.
