The Las Vegas Raiders have flipped the page to the 2024 offseason, and owner Mark Davis is officially on the hunt for the Silver and Black's next permanent General Manager.

Which direction will Davis go? Nobody knows, but the process is underway. We have said from the beginning that we expect Champ Kelly to be named permanent general manager.

Now that Antonio Pierce has that permanent head coaching job, will Mark Davis fulfill expectations and hire Champ Kelly permanently?

Champ Kelly has patiently waited his turn to be a general manager in the National Football League.  When he got that opportunity, he told Mark Davis that Antonio Pierce was his guy, and Davis listened.

I asked Pierce what it meant to him that he was his choice when Kelly got the chance.  “I mean, I knew I couldn't screw it up. But no, it meant a lot because there's a lot of people in this building that were probably deserving of it. I mean, Patrick Graham was one of them. Edgar Bennett could have been another one, guys that have been there and been in the league and been successful. But obviously, like I told you guys from the very beginning, I took it to heart, I took it seriously, I poured everything I had into the last nine to 10 weeks to try to prove him right and prove Mr. Davis Right, and we'll see what happens.”

From February 27 to March 4, 2024, the NFL Scouting Combine will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind.

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
