Raiders' TE Michael Mayer From the Locker Room

The Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) head to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bears (1-5) on Sunday at Soldier Field, and Notre Dame rookie tight end Michael Mayer looks to be a vital part of the offense.

LAS VEGAS, Nev.--The Las Vegas Raiders (3-3) head to the Windy City this weekend to try to get above .500 versus the Chicago Bears (1-5).

One player on the anemic Silver and Black offense who has played well is rookie tight end from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Michael Mayer.

Mayer is an impressive physical specimen renowned for his toughness and determination on the field, standing at 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 240 lbs,

Mayer has all the physical attributes needed to succeed in the NFL,, and while the Silver and Black took him in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, they had him valued with a first-round grade.

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer from Notre Dame has been everything they hoped he would be when they selected him in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

He has an explosive first step, exceptional physical strength, and agility, allowing him to evade defenders quickly. His physical toughness is a key asset in his all-around performance. He is not afraid to take on any pass or run block, and is always willing to do what it takes to ensure the play works to the best of his ability. 

Mayer's physicality helps him to be a reliable target for his quarterback in the passing game, and his willingness to take on any defender makes him a valuable asset for the Raiders rushing attack. His physical toughness and skill set enable him to make plays at a high level and contribute to the team's success.
