Los Angeles Rams Meet With Potential Top Ten Draft Pick Troy Fautanu
Some holes have appeared in the offensive line of the Los Angeles Rams, and the team could be looking to fill one of those with one of their picks in the upcoming NFL Draft.
According to Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz, the Rams had a private meeting with Washington Huskies offensive tackle Troy Fautanu. This is the second meeting that the team has had with a member of the Huskies, after meeting with wide receiver Rome Odunze about a month ago.
Fautanu is one of the top offensive linemen in this year's class, as he was first team All Pac-12 Conference and third team Associated Press All-American. Washington also won the Joe Moore awqard, which is given every year to the nation's best offensive line.
The 23-year-old tackle had a very impressive Draft Combine, which resulted in the Rams reaching out to meet with the prospect. He is able to line up at multiple different positions on the line, but his most played position in college was left tackle.
Alaric Jackson is currently the Rams' starting left tackle, but if the team wants a more proven guy that could possibly be the starter for years to come, then Fautanu could be an intriguing option.
If the team decides to draft an offensive line piece then it could result in another standout season for star running back Kyren Williams, as well as another chance to contend this season.
