Los Angeles Rams legend Aaron Donald took to X to react to their first-quarter performance to NFC West rival the Arizona Cardinals. Rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. lit up the Rams' secondary in the first quarter with four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

Donald who is widely regarded as the best player to ever come out of the Rams' franchise will always receive massive reactions when discussing his former team. After 10 seasons in the National Football League Donald decided to call it a career after retiring as one of the five greatest defensive players in the history of the sport. As much as Rams fans wish Donald could lace up his cleats one more time, all Donald can do is sit on the couch and react.

The Rams first quarter disaster against the Cardinals looked like a product of their heavily injured roster. Los Angeles is potentially the most injured team in the National Football League to start the season as they have a number of players occupying their injured reserve, most notably Puka Nacua who is expected to miss 5-7 weeks of the season with a PCL injury to his knee.

When the Rams released their week two injury report, it featured five players out for the game which does not include the ones who are occupying a spot on the injury reserve.

The secondary and the offensive line have been the most affected by the injury bug which the Cardinals did a great job of exploiting in the first half against the Rams. Quarterback Matthew Stafford has had to deal with a very chaotic pocket as the Cardinals' front seven has pressured him constantly throughout the game. The injuries to the secondary also look to be a problem as the Rams have had no answer for fourth overall 2024 NFL Draft selection, Marvin Harrison Jr. The 2024 Biletnikoff Award winner is having a breakout performance against the Rams after going off for two receiving touchdowns on back-to-back drives.

Despite head coach Sean McVay assuring the media that he is prepared to adjust to his team's circumstances, this group is looking very reminiscent of the 2022 Rams team that had their season derailed due to a plethora of injuries on their roster.
