Cleveland Browns vs. Los Angeles Rams Week 13: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Rams return home after a win 37-14 over the division-rival Cardinals in Arizona last week to take on the Cleveland Browns in an inter-conference matchup on Sunday. Los Angeles is a winner of two in a row and still has an outside chance of a playoff appearance this season.
Cleveland has a better chance of the playoffs and is still alive for the AFC North title, currently led by the 9-3 Baltimore Ravens. The Browns hold the No. 6 spot in the seven-team AFC bracket.
But the Browns have been decimated by injuries this year. Defensive end Myles Garrett played much of last week's game after reaggravating a shoulder injury that was suffered in a car accident last year. He's the undisputed leader of the defense and its best player.
Starting quarterback Deshaun Watson was lost for the year already before backup Doria Thompson-Robinson went into concussion protocol. The team has signed 38-year-old former journeyman and Super Bowl XLVII MVP Joe Flacco who will get the start this weekend.
The all-time series between the Rams and Browns includes three NFL Championship games. The Browns won the title in 1950 and 1955, while the Rams took home the crown in 1951. But the Rams have won the last three meetings between the two teams, with the last Cleveland win coming in 2007. This is the Browns' first trip back to Los Angeles since the Rams relocated in 2016.
The last time the Browns visited the Rams in Los Angeles, a Bill Belichick-led Cleveland team beat Chuck Knox's Rams 42-14 in Anaheim in 1993.
