'You Owe Me!' Eminem Sends Clear Message To Matthew Stafford Before Rams vs. Lions Wild Card Matchup

Detroit hip-hop legend and noted Lions fan Eminem had something to say to Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford before the two teams face off on Sunday Night Football.

The Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams are set to face off in arguably the most anticipated matchup of Super Wild Card Weekend on Sunday Night Football.

Among the myriad of storylines associated with the game, is the fact that Detroit is not only hosting its first home playoff game in 30 years but is also searching for its first postseason win since January of 1992.

Suffice it to say, Detroit fans are desperate to see their Lions win. The only problem? Former longtime Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is lining up under center for the Los Angeles Rams - who are arguably the hottest team in the NFL entering the postseason.

As such, one of the Lions' biggest and most notable fans - hip-hop legend Eminem - sent a message to Stafford via Sunday Night Football.

“Stafford, what’d I say? You owe me this favor, bro,” Eminem said in the clip. “I was there for you when you won it. I was there for you. I was right there. I rapped for you, Stafford! Bro, I rapped for you! Can you just let us have this one? Just this one.”

Stafford, of course, spent 12 seasons with the Lions, throwing for over 45,000 yards and connecting on 357 touchdowns in 206 games.

And despite never taking Detroit to a title, Stafford became one of the most loved sports figures in the history of the city Barry Sanders, Gordie Howe, Ty Cobb, Miguel Cabrera, and his old teammate, Calvin Johnson.

In other words, Lions fans, including Eminem, know better than anyone what Stafford is capable of.

Now, he has a chance to send his former team packing in front of what is sure to be a crazy home crowd at Ford Field on Sunday night.
