Chiefs Ex Demarcus Robinson 'Feels Great' After Signing with Rams

Demarcus Robinson played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens before signing with the Los Angeles Rams.

Los Angeles Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson is on his third team in as many seasons, but he's hoping he can make Tinseltown a home instead of his next stop on his NFL tour.

"Feels great just to be a part of the organization," Robinson told the team website. "Very thankful and glad to be a part of this organization. We're learning a lot right now, I'm learning a lot right now. It's getting pretty easy as we go through it. I'm just ready to go out and make plays man, show the team and show Rams nation what I can do."

Robinson, who turns 29 later this month, spent his first six NFL seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he was part of a Super Bowl winner in 2019.

It remains to be seen how much of a role Robinson would play in the offense, but his veteran status should help him build rapport with quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has cited concerns connecting with his younger teammates.

ESPN lists Robinson as a second-string receiver alongside Ben Skowronek and rookie Puka Nacua. Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson and Tutu Atwell are listed as the team's starters.

Robinson has a chance to be a nice complementary receiver next to Kupp in an offense that looked like a shell of itself compared to 2021. Perhaps Robinson's championship DNA is what the Rams need in order to re-ignite the spark in the offense.

Robinson has a chance to make his Rams debut in Week 1 on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:25 at Lumen Field.
