Wild Card Kickoff Time, Date Revealed For Rams vs. Lions
After securing the No. 6 seed in the NFC on Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams now know when they will face the Detroit Lions in the NFL's Super Wild Card Weekend.
As the playoff schedule was released on Sunday night, L.A. learned that it will face Detroit at 5:15 p.m. PT on NBC's "Sunday Night Football" next week in an attempt to extend its season to the divisional round.
A lot is on the line when the Rams and Lions square off next week. For one, it's obviously a win-or-go-home situation, but a ton of franchise momentum is up for grabs as well following Detroit's first division title since 1993 and Los Angeles' superb turnaround after a 3-6 start to the season.
This game will also mark a return for Matthew Stafford to his former Detroit stomping grounds where he spent 12 seasons before being traded to the Rams for current Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
