Though Los Angeles Rams star Aaron Donald was selected to the Pro Bowl this year, he will not participate due to injury.

Aaron Donald has made the Pro Bowl roster every single year since he was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams with the 13th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. But he will not be able to participate this year and will have to be replaced.

Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown will replace Donald and make his first career Pro Bowl. The Rams star is unable to take part in the festivities this year as a result of an unspecified injury, and this isn't the first time he has missed the Pro Bowl.

This is the third year in a row that he will miss the events, as last year Donald was unable to participate due to an ankle injury that required surgery. This could be seen as a good thing for the 10-year veteran, as it could give him to really think about what his future looks like with the Rams, and whether or not he will be staying for another season.

No matter what Donald does, he has earned the respect of everyone he has shared the field with throughout the course of his career, including his defensive coordinator, Raheem Morris.

Morris has nothing but praise for the future Hall of Famer, and he thinks that he is in the presence of greatness.

"Aaron is the greatest football player that probably most of us have been around," Morris told reporters. "You’re carrying this gold jacket right now and we’re just lucky enough to be able to watch it"
