The Los Angeles Rams had the most picks in the 2023 NFL draft with 14 selections. But which of these 14 selections took the headlines for LA?

On Sunday, CBS Sports pointed out each team's best, worst, and most interesting draft picks.

The Rams' best draft choice, according to CBSSports was Wake Forest defensive lineman Kobie Turner who was taken with the No.89 overall pick in the third round.

"Blast to watch on film. Quick, relentless inside rusher. Handwork and first-step winner. Could become a star learning from Aaron Donald."

Last season at Wake Forest, Turner finished with 10 tackles for a loss, two sacks, and two forced fumbles.

Conversely, CBSSports noted the team's worst pick was the third-round selection of Tennessee edge rusher Bryon Young.

"Young is super fun on film. One of the best, most explosive outside speed rushes in the class. Gumby-like around the corner. But that's really all he can lean on. He's a much older prospect who wasn't all that productive from a pressure perspective. Like the position addressed, but this is a round or two too early."

Considering he is 25, Young is at the older end of the rookie age spectrum. His ceiling could be lower because of his age.

Finally, according to CBSSports, the team's most interesting pick was Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett, who the Rams took in the fourth round.

"Honestly, the Rams made several interesting picks. We could talk about LaDainian Tomlinson's nephew or Mr. Irrelevant, but I was shocked that Stetson Bennett was taken in the fourth round. He doesn't have the NFL measurables you're looking for and is coming off of an arrest, but at the same time, this dude is a winner. Plus, teaming up with Sean McVay makes this VERY interesting."

Despite his college success, Bennett's lack of prototypical size for an NFL quarterback and off-field issues likely caused him to fall in the draft. However, the Rams may see something in Bennett that other teams didn't, such as his ability to lead and make plays when it matters most.

Only time will tell which of the Rams' 2023 rookies will succeed in the NFL.
