After being crushed by injuries in Week 14 vs. the Ravens, it seems the Los Angeles Rams are finally starting to get all the good injury news heading into their Week 16 tilt with the New Orleans Saints.

Sean McVay had already announced the return of top offensive lineman Rob Havenstein on Sunday night.

And Monday, we learned that receiver Tutu Atwell had cleared concussion protocol, and would be available Thursday as well.

Now, it appears that more good news is coming their way in regard to the Rams top corner, Ahkello Witherspoon, who McVay revealed would be good to go on Thursday.

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon (44) celebrates an interception in the fourth quarter during a Week 3 NFL football game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Bengals won, 19-16.

“He'll be good to go," McVay said on Monday. "It was just his groin got tight during the game and don't expect it to affect his status for this week.”

Witherspoon injured his groin in the fourth quarter of the Rams Sunday win over the Commanders, and he was unable to return to action.

After his absence, the Commanders and top wideout Terry McLaurin scored two quick touchdowns through the air to turn what was at the time a blowout, back into a game.

The Rams were ultimately able to hold off Washington, however, sealing the win.

Witherspoon has 35 tackles and three interceptions for the season.
