Bills Free Agent Tre'Davious White Schedules Meeting With Rams
One of the areas that the Los Angeles Rams could have used the most help in last season was the secondary, and they could be getting some veteran help.
The Buffalo Bills recently released their seven-year veteran corner Tre'Davious White due to health concerns and his increasing age. But the Rams believe that he has some good years left in him, and have scheduled a meeting with him this week.
The Rams were in the bottom five teams in the league this past season in passing yards allowed, so bringing in a veteran presence like White could be just what the team needs.
The one big concern with White is his availability, as he has had some trouble with injuries and missed all but four games this past season with an Achilles injury. But when he is on the field, he has been one of the better cornerbacks in the entire NFL year in and year out.
How Free Agency Affects Los Angeles Rams' First Round Pick
In 2020, White was named Second Team All-Pro and was selected to his second Pro Bowl in a row. Even if he does not put up the same numbers that he has in the past, he could still be a solid piece for a team like the Rams trying to contend.
With how young a lot of the Rams' defensive players are, signing a player like White could be exactly what the team needs to push them over the top and truly become a contender for the Super Bowl.
