Rams Hold Lead Over Commanders at Halftime
The Los Angeles Rams were in a must-win scenario vs. the Washington Commanders heading into their Sunday matchup at SoFi Stadium.
After one half of play, they are well on their way to getting that much-needed win, leading Washington 13-0 heading into the locker room at halftime.
The Rams have been led early on by a combination of elite defense and a maestro performance from quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has continued his hot play over the last few weeks.
Stafford began the game with 12 straight completions for 110 yards, eight of which went to the elite tandem of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
The Rams' first touchdown of the day came at the end of that streak, with Kyren Williams rushing in for a short score to give the Rams a 10-point lead.
Williams has also been a major part of the L.A. offensive attack, rushing 12 times for 81 yards and the touchdown.
Stafford, meanwhile, ended the half completing 16 of 20 passes for 125 yards.
