We have reached the pinnacle of the NFL season, with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles set to face off on Super Bowl Sunday

Both teams enter with an impressive 16-3 record after navigating their paths to the Super Bowl as No. 1 seeds in their respective conferences. How they got here, though, did differ slightly in difficulty.

After both starting their playoff journeys with a bye week the Eagles blew out both the Giants and 49ers, while the Chiefs won close games over the Jaguars and Bengals to get here.

While both the Chiefs and Eagles feature potent offenses, averaging 29.2 and 28.1 points per game respectively, the difference in this one will likely come down to defense.

The Eagles hold an edge over the Chiefs in that department, holding opponents to 20.2 points per game compared to Kansas City who allowed 21.7 points per game.

One area of concern for the Chiefs, though, is the health of MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes, who suffered a high ankle sprain in the Chiefs' win over the Jaguars, is going to start but there is no telling how much the injury will impact his game.
