Rams Star Aaron Donald Named First-Team All-Pro by NFLPA

Aaron Donald has basically done it all in his career with the Los Angeles Rams, and now that includes being selected to just the second NFLPA All-Pro Teams.

Now that the NFL regular season has concluded, it's time to start looking at who made the biggest impact at each position. And for the defensive tackle spot, the answer is the same as it has been for a number of years.

The NFL Player's Association recently released its second annual All-Pro First Team, and it features who the players think is the best talent in the league. And at defensive tackle, to nobody's surprise, is Aaron Donald

This adds yet another accomplishment to the Los Angeles Rams star's resume and makes his career all the more worthy of the Hall of Fame.

The NFLPA Players' All-Pro team is voted on by active NFL players, and each player is eligible to vote for the position group of which they are a part and the position group they face off against on the field.

This means that Donald has earned the respect of his fellow defensive tackles as well as the interior offensive lineman that he goes up against.

Head coach Sean McVay speaks highly of the future hall-of-famer and is thankful for his mindset.

"I think that's why he is who he is. The great ones never get complacent," McVay said. "There's always things that you can look at. Nobody has higher standards for Aaron than he does of himself. And I think that's a separator. And I think that's a consistent thing when you start talking about people that are in that kind of company. And he certainly is in rarefied air."

Donald has now been named to both of the All-Pro teams selected by the players, and the Rams are grateful to have a talent like him going into their playoff game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
