Rams Legend Torry Holt Snubbed For Pro Football Hall of Fame
It was announced on Thursday night that NFL legend wide receiver Torry Holt would not be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Instead, Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson, Panthers defensive end Julius Peppers, Bears defensive back Devin Hester, Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney, 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis, Broncos linebacker Randy Gradishar and Bears defensive tackle Steve McMichael made the cut.
Holt played all but the last year of his 11-year career with the St. Louis Rams and is one of the best players in the franchise's history. he was also one of the key pieces in leading the Rams to their first-ever Super Bowl win.

He was an integral part of the team that was known as the "Greatest Show on Turf", as Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner would throw the ball to him and Isaac Bruce, who was also named a Hall of Famer in 2020. The team won Super Bowl 34 in 2000 and is known as one of the best teams in NFL history.
In the decade of the 2000s, there is no receiver that had more receiving yards than Holt, as he was one of the most consistent guys in the league. He had eight straight seasons with over 1100 yards, with six of them being over 1300 yards.
He made the Pro Bowl seven times, which ties him for sixth all-time for wide receivers. And while he has been eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the last 10 years, and has been a finalist for five years in a row.
Now, he will unfortunately have to wait a little bit longer.
