Los Angeles Rams Les Snead Ranks Where in NFL GM Power Rankings?

How does the national media look at Les Snead's role in the downfall of the Los Angeles Rams' past season?
In this story:

How does everyone feel about Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead following a disappointing defense of Super Bowl LVI

Pretty dang good if a recent set of general manager powering rankings from NFL.com is anything to show for it. Only 25 front office executives were ranked as the article held their judgment on regimes that have yet to select two draft classes. Among those rated, Snead finished inside the top 10 at No. 6.

While the article's brief description of Snead's work does begin with them essentially blaming the Rams' current situation on him for re-signing his "three biggest stars to extensions." It is hard to blame Snead for doing what he did after having the success they did in 2021.

But as they go on to mention, some of what happened last season was out of Snead's control, like the bad "injury luck" which saw the Rams lose their stars like, quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and even defensive tackle Aaron Donald, all missed time.

As the Rams are in the beginning stages of their roster "remodeling," as Snead called his current plan, he has shown a knack for knowing when the time is to push the chips into the pot and go "all-in."

No, the Rams aren't likely to be making the same kind of blockbuster moves that they did in pursuit of the Lombardi Trophy, at least not at this point; he has the opportunity to prove that he can build through the NFL Draft, something that Howie Roseman of the Philadelphia Eagles did before ascending to the top spot of the power rankings.
