Rams Are 'Headed on the Right Track' For 2024

The NFL season has concluded, so now it is time to start looking towards next season and how the Los Angeles Rams stack up.
In this story:

The Los Angeles Rams finished this past season on a hot streak and end up making the playoffs. And now that the season is over, it's time to start looking at what implications that has for next season.

Most recently, ESPN put every NFL team into different tiers based on how they are looking heading into next season.

And for the Rams , it appears things are “Headed on the Right Track."

"The Rams' offense will be humming behind a healthy Matthew Stafford and a trio of playmakers: Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams," ESPN said. "They should spend adequate resources to support a very young defense with the right players. L.A. once trued to trade for pass-rusher Brian Burns, who will likely be franchise-tagged by Carolina. A sign-and-trade might just be what general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay need."

The Rams were one of the best teams in the NFL in the latter of half of the season, as they only lost one game after their Week 10 bye. And that game was an overtime loss against the Baltimore Ravens, who at that point were considered one of the favorites to come out of the AFC.

ESPN Predicts Rams as Super Bowl Contenders in 2024

The team has expressed wanting to make a move with the 19th pick, whether that be making the pick, or trading up to get an even better player.

But whatever the team decides to do, they could be just one small move away from going over the top

If the Rams can keep up the same level of play that they had at the end of last season, with their young core continuing to improve, then the sky really could be the limit next season.
