Could Michigan Receiver Roman Wilson Be Late-Round Target for Los Angeles Rams?

Even though the Los Angeles Rams already has a solid wide receiver corps, there could be a couple wide outs in the later rounds that could be worth a look.

The Los Angeles Rams had one of the best passing attacks in the entire NFL this past season, so looking at taking another receiver in the upcoming NFL Draft could be worth a shot.

Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp could be one of the better wide receiver duos in the league, but adding a third wideout who is young and ready to prove himself could make the team even scarier. Looking at receivers in the later rounds has worked for the team in the past, and Michigan's Roman Wilson could be a guy who could keep that trend going.

Wilson was one of the keys in Michigan winning the National Championship this past year, as he led the Wolverines in receptions with 48 last season. He was named Second-team All-Big Ten Conference and finished tied for ninth in the FBS with 12 receiving TDs.

He also performed well at the NFL Draft Combine, as he ran an impressive 4.39 in the 40-yard dash and a 10-yard split of 1.52 seconds. Wilson's speed is one of his biggest assets, and that could complement the physicality of Nacua and Kupp well.

If the Rams were to draft a young and speedy receiver like Wilson, it could add a new layer to their already impressive offense. The team's passing game was able to lead them to the playoffs, and this year they will be looking to not just make the postseason, but contend.
