NFL Mock Draft: Rams Go Defense in First Four Rounds?

The Los Angeles Rams will be without a first-round pick for the seventh-straight season. What does the latest mock draft look like for the Rams?
In this story:

The Los Angeles Rams are undergoing a "roster remodel," as general manager Les Snead said, avoiding the rebuilding label. But as the Rams turn their attention to the NFL Draft, there is a belief that they need "everything."

Of course, they have their "pillars" in quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and defensive tackle Aaron Donald, but they could still use help. The latest mock draft from the NFL Network has penned defense as a place of need for Los Angeles in their four-round mock.

The Rams will not have a first-round pick come April, courtesy of the Stafford trade with the Detroit Lions, which saw Los Angeles send two first-rounders and quarterback Jared Goff in exchange for the former No. 1 overall pick out of Georgia. So without a first, the Rams will have to wait until Day 2 before making their first selection.

The NFL Network has the Rams drafting Isaiah Foskey, the outside linebacker/edge rushing hybrid out of Notre Dame, in a mock trade that would see them land the No. 38 pick.

Then in the third round, with two picks, No. 69 and 77, the Rams add to their secondary, picking cornerback Julius Brent out of Kansas State and safety Sydney Brown from Illinois.

To round out the mock, the NFL Network projects B.J. Thompson, an edge rusher from Stephen F. Austin, as their pick at No. 109.
