How Should Rams Approach Filling Needs in Offseason?
The Los Angeles Rams were able to make a push in the latter half of the season to make the playoffs, and they will be hoping to do the same thing this upcoming season.
But if the team wants to do that, then they might have to fill some of the holes that they have in the lineup.
For the Rams, perhaps the biggest need is a safety to help the passing defense. The most obvious way to fill this role would be to resign Jordan Fuller, as John Johnson III will be 29 later this year, and Fuller is only 25.
Another option would be to go get a young player, whether that be signing someone like Baltimore Ravens safety Geno Stone in free agency, or going to get someone through the draft.
The Rams also need edge-rushing help, as teams focus on guarding Aaron Donald and Kobie Turner on the inside. This position would be the most likely for the team to sign a big name free agent, as players like Josh Allen or Brian Burns would make a huge impact on the team immediately.

And despite the team being a solid passing offense last year, another wide receiver could make the Rams even scarier. Re-signing Demarcus Robinson is a possibility, but he will be 30 years old later this year, and the Rams probably want someone younger. The team had success last year with a wide receiver that they drafted late, so doing that again might not be the worst idea.
The Rams showed that they could get it done in the regular season even with a few holes in the lineup. So if they are able to fill a few or even one of these holes, they could be in position to make some serious noise this upcoming season.
