Rams Coach Sean McVay Excited for What Falcons Will Do Under Raheem Morris
The Los Angeles Rams lost a few members of their coaching staff to the Atlanta Falcons, and head coach Sean McVay believes that they will do a great job in their new roles.
Former Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris is now the head coach of the Falcons, Zac Robinson is now the offensive coordinator, and Jimmy Lake is now the defensive coordinator.
McVay is happy for his former colleagues and talked about how excited he is to see what they can do this season in a recent interview.
"Can’t wait to watch him go shine," McVay said of Morris. "I know Zac and Jimmy will do an outstanding job as his coordinators... I think it’s an awesome opportunity for those guys to be able to elevate their careers. He is so deserving of the job. He’s one of my closest friends, he’s a great leader."
Morris started drawing attention from a lot of teams in search of a new head coach after he led the Rams' defense to a more productive season than people expected. He had interviews with many different teams, but Atlanta is where he ultimately decided to take the next step in his coaching career.

The Falcons finished this past season with a 7-10 record under former head coach Arthur Smith, and then they decided to go in a different direction. They have a lot of young talent that, if utilized correctly, could have a very bright future ahead of them.
It will be very interesting to see how both the Rams and the Falcons fare this upcoming season with so many coaching changes. Both teams will be looking to contend for the top spot in their respective divisions, and therefore, the playoffs.
