Los Angeles Rams vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 12: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Rams make the trip to Glendale to play the division-rival Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium. Los Angeles will face Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray for the first time this season as he's finally returned from last year's ACL injury.
In eight previous games against the Rams, Murray is just 1-7 but hopes to improve on that this weekend.
“I think the first four years, it was tough for us to have success against them," Murray said. “They’re coached well. They’ve had really great players over there, but the past is the past. I look forward to this next challenge."
Sunday will mark Murray's third game since returning to the field, and it appears he hasn't missed a beat. He's completed 63 percent of his passes and thrown for 463 yards and one touchdown. He has also carried the ball 84 yards for two touchdowns in a win over Atlanta and a loss to the Texans.
“He brings an element that you can’t coach," Rams coach Sean McVay said. "You can see it ups the level of a play around him. He certainly is a very dangerous player in a lot of different facets.”
Overall, Arizona has lost seven of their last eight games since upsetting the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 with Josh Dobbs under center.
The Rams will welcome second-year running back Kyren Williams back to the field on Sunday after suffering an ankle injury in the last game against the Cardinals. Williams has missed the last four outings. Before the injury, Williams rushed for a career-high 158 yards and a touchdown against Arizona in Week 6.
Wideouts Cooper Kupp and Puca Nacua could possibly be limited by injuries, making the return of Williams even more important.
