Los Angeles Rams vs. Dallas Cowboys: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Los Angeles Rams make the trip to Texas for a matchup with the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Sunday hoping to break Dallas' 10-game home winning streak. It's also Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's first trip home since joining Los Angeles and winning a Super Bowl.
“I got a bunch of buddies in town that I know still living in the area,” Stafford said. “My family still lives in the area, so they’ll be at the game, which will be fun. It’s always fun going back there, but once the ball’s snapped and we’re playing ball, it’s go out there and try to beat the Cowboys.”
Stafford won a state title while attending Highland Park High School in Dallas, the same school Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones' grandson won two more recently. In three visits back to Dallas while with the Lions, Stafford was 1-2.
“Every time I go there," Stafford said, "I feel like it’s a really unique challenge.”
The Cowboys are still trying to forget about their embarrassing 42-10 road loss to the 49ers in Week 5, while the Rams hope to take advantage of San Francisco's recent losses to Cleveland and Minnesota to gain some ground in the division race.
At 4-2, Dallas is just behind the 6-1 Eagles for the NFC East lead, but Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott isn't focused on catching Philadelphia.
“This is about us running our own race,” Prescott said. “Right now, we’re not looking at anybody else. We know what this league is about. We know how tough it is. We’re just going to run our own race and lock in on who we are.”
