NFL Draft: Which Rams Pick 'Raised Eyebrows'?

The Los Angeles Rams drafted more rookies than any team in the NFL. But which pick was deemed the most questionable?
In this story:

The Los Angeles Rams are adding 14 players to the roster from this year's NFL Draft with the hope that some will pan out and be part of the next Super Bowl champion for the franchise.

However, statistics won't be kind to every rookie, and chances are that a few won't live up to their draft stock.

CBS Sports listed each team's selection from the draft that "raised eyebrows," and the Rams' choice was Wake Forest defensive tackle, Kobie Turner.

"Turner is a really fun player to watch because of the pace in which he plays the game," CBS Sports writes. "He is a shorter prospect with below-average arm length. Interior rushers are usually longer and interior run defenders usually carry more mass. It was not a significant reach based on his place on the overall big board but it seemed too early."

Turner played just one season at Wake Forest, transferring from Richmond in FCS. That means he will have to make a considerable jump once again as he faces NFL offenses.

SI Draft Bible says Turner "thrived in 2022 despite jumping from the Colonial Athletic Association to the ACC, but the college veteran needs to polish his hand usage and pass rush moves before becoming an impact NFL player."

Luckily for Turner, he'll learn from one of the best in three-time Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald. First, to play alongside him, but maybe one day to eventually replace him.
