Seahawks Hire Rams Coach Greg Olson
The NFL coaching carousel is closing as all head coaching vacancies have been filled, leaving just coordinating and position coaching roles left to be filled. So far, the Los Angeles Rams have endured some changes to their coaching staff after letting go of eight staff members after the disappointing 2022 season.
In addition to those eight staffers who departed in January, two high-profile assistants have recently followed; former assistant head coach and tight ends coach Thomas Brown took a promotion with the Carolina Panthers to become their offensive coordinator, while former offensive assistant Greg Olson has now become the quarterbacks' coach for the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks are expected to hire Rams senior offensive assistant Greg Olson as their next quarterbacks coach, sources say.

Olson, 59, completed his third stint with the Rams, formerly holding the roles of offensive coordinator (2006-7), quarterbacks coach (2017), and most recently serving as an offensive assistant.
Olson last left the Rams following the 2017 season to join the Oakland Raiders as the offensive coordinator under then-head coach Jon Gruden.
With Olson and Brown off to new positions, newly hired offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur and head coach Sean McVay will look to retool an offensive staff that, in some people's eyes, underperformed after winning a Super Bowl.
