Tyrod Taylor to Start at QB for Giants vs. Rams on Sunday
The Los Angeles Rams are scheduled for a road test on Sunday when they travel to face the New York Giants, and now, they know who they will be facing at quarterback.
Giants head coach Brian Daboll announced on Wednesday that Tyrod Taylor will once again get the nod at quarterback this week against the Rams. He relieved Tommy DeVito in last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, going 7-of-16 through the air for 133 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Taylor was the original replacement for the injured Daniel Jones this season, but it was DeVito who took the league by storm earlier this year, and he had completed 63. 6 percent of his passes for 1,087 yards and eight touchdowns with three picks in eight total appearances
A 13-year NFL veteran, Taylor has completed 61.7 percent of his passes for 725 yards and three touchdowns with one pick in nine appearances, just three of which were starts.
