WATCH: Los Angeles Rams Lead Pittsburgh Steelers At Halftime After Crazy Tutu Atwell TD Catch

The Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers are locked in a low-scoring tie after two quarters
In this story:

Coming off of their dominant win over the Arizona Cardinals last week, the Los Angeles Rams were looking to get back above .500 for the first time since Week 1.

And after one half of play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday at SoFi Stadium, they have put themselves in a good position to do just that, leading the Steelers 9-3 heading into the locker room.

So far through the first two quarters, it has been the defenses that have dictated the outcome of the majority of the game, with the teams sitting tied at 3-3 at the two-minute warning.

However, thanks to a productive drive from newly acquired running back Darrell Henderson, the Rams got themselves into position to break the tie with less than 30 seconds to go in the half.

And that is when Matthew Stafford and Tutu Atwell made the play of the game thus far, with Stafford hitting the third-year wideout for a touchdown pass, that was seemingly intended for Cooper Kupp.

Instead, it was Atwell who came up with the score, jumping in front of a double-covered Kupp on a pass that could very well have been intercepted.

The touchdown pass capped off a solid first half throwing the football for Stafford, who completed 9 of 16 passes for 159 yards and the score to Atwell.

Puka Nacua has been Stafford's top target thus far, catching nine passes for 94 yards, while Kupp has added two catches for 29 yards with a pair of uncharacteristic drops.

Henderson leads the team in rushing, carrying the ball nine times for 42 yards.

The Rams will receive the ball to start the second half.
