WATCH: Rams Narrow Deficit vs. Lions On 50-Yard Strike From Stafford to Nacua

The Los Angeles Rams finally found the end zone on a long pass from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua.

The Los Angeles Rams fell behind the Detroit Lions 14-3 in the early portions of the first half of Sunday's Wild Card matchup, but quarterback Matthew Stafford narrowed that gap with a clutch connection with wideout Puka Nacua.

Stafford found Nacua down the left sideline from 50 yards out in the early second quarter for what resulted in Los Angeles' first touchdown of the night. You can view the play below.

The Lions scored a touchdown on their first possession of the night, which L.A. was able to counter with a field goal on its first turn with the ball. Another Detroit touchdown, this time on the ground from Jahmyr Gibbs, preceded the long scoring play from Stafford to Nacua in the second frame.

The back-and-forth affair continued after this long pass, however, as the Lions were able to find the end zone once again on the next drive.
